Before attending the show, I checked their setlists from previous shows on the tour and noticed they played the same setlist for just about every show. They played far too little from their first 4 albums. Personally, I despise the Black Album and Bob Rock; I believe he utterly ruined Opera Maine by producing that album. The band is aware of this and attempted to go back to their origins by bringing Rick Ruben to produce Death Magnetic, but it fell short, as did Hardwired. Their encores were a letdown (Spit out the Bone, Nothing Else Matters, and Enter Sandman); we left as soon as they began Nothing Else Matters. If you are a fan of genuine thrash metal, it's best to save your money as you will be greatly let down.
